Iyanya Mbuk celebrated his 27th year birthday on Thursday, November 7, at Ikoyi Prison and later spoke with www.theoctopusnews.com.
The Made Men Music Group (MMMG) artiste revealed that at 27 years, he feels blessed, challenged and encouraged because of where he is coming from and all the work he has put into his career. “Where I am today is a blessing, but it is one thing to get here and another thing to stay, get bigger and better.”
He told www.theoctopusnews.com that his rise to fame is the handiwork of God. According to him, “I don’t think I am doing anything unique, I am just blessed.”
Ask him what inspires his sexy lyrics and he answers: “I try to do music business as opposed to when I just came into the industry and was doing music.” Further, he said that an artiste’s life span depends on his ability to produce hits, while also stating that the day he fails to churn out good songs, it is over.
On why he loves exposing his body the artiste said that it is all part of the business of entertainment. He also revealed that it was Patrick Elis who brought the idea of his taking off his shirt during the shoot of “Kukere”. Iyanya also spoke about the two new additions to MMMG. “Techno has a different sound of his own, he is a talented artiste, while Bassey, who is also new on the record label will soon be dropping his own work”, he said.
About the woman in his life he said “whatever happened in the past is like a mirage.” Furthermore, he revealed that the fact that he is always on the road and women need attention has made him to focus on making more money and hits for his fans, instead of hurting the lady in his life with his absence.
