Thespian, Chioma Toplis has revealed that she was sexually assaulted by people she considered her guardians.
She stated this while reacting to people who have been condemning parents who send their children to boarding school.
Reacting to the development at Dowen College, where a 12-years-old boy identified as Sylvester Oromoni was bullied to death, Toplis said that bad things still happen to kids who go to school from their homes.
She pointed out that bad things happen at home as well, adding that she was sexually abused as a day student by someone who was supposed to be her guardian.
She stressed that monsters are everywhere.
Further, Toplis said that the children of her abuser later accused her of seducing their father and raping him.
