An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan, has granted bail to Princess Naomi Silekunola, the ex-wife of the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
Also granted bail is the principal of Islamic High School, Bashorun, Ibadan, Abdullahi Fasasi; and the proprietor of Agidigbo FM, Oriyomi Hamzat.
The bail was granted by Justice K.B. Olawoyin on Monday.
Recall that the trio were arrested and detained in connection with the alleged murder of 35 children who died during the “Christmas party” they organized for children on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
They were granted bail after the judge listened to the arguments of their counsels.
This comes after an Oyo State Magistrate Court in Iyaganku had earlier ordered that the trio be remanded at the Agodi Correctional Facility.
