Very popular is the saying that: “It is not how many times a man falls that matter, but the number of times he rises again.”
The above saying is one which applies to businessman cum politician, Ifeanyi Ubah.
Ubah has severally reached the ebb of failure but has somehow managed to return.
In the wake of his campaign for erstwhile President Goodluck Jonathan, many thought that Ubah had seen his finest time, as the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) came knocking on his doors, as it became obvious he couldn’t pay his debt.
Yet to get out of the dilemma, his election as a Senator recently came onto contention. However, all the while, the man remained tall, rising every time he fell in court.
Having found himself grovelling following the High Court judgment on this election, he recently found reprieve at the Supreme Court where his election was validated as the Senator representing Anambra South in the Senate.
