Organisers of the annual Lagos International Jazz Festival (LIJF), Inspiro Productions is set to mark both the Annual Jazz Appreciation Month and International Jazz Day.
The Event Marketing and Management Company is set to do this via some free for all events tagged JAM Sessions.
Four JAM Sessions are scheduled to happen once a week at designated venues in the city of Lagos during the month of April and climax with The April 30thInternational Jazz Day.
Speaking in a chat with us, Inspiro CEO and LIJF director, Ayoola Sadare confirmed the dates for the events at the following venues-Friday, April 1, at The Culture Café, Prince Of Anthony Hotel, Anthony Village, Lagos; Friday April 8, at Pop Up Jazz Lounge Lekki I, Lagos; Saturday April 16, at The Ayo Bankole Centre For Arts Surulere, Lagos and Friday April 22, at The Shuga Lounge, Eagle’s Park Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
The Lagos International Jazz festival 2016 which is scheduled to hold between 29 April and 1 May has incorporated both the April Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM) and International Jazz Day on April 30th this year to its programs.
Inspiro started this annual International Jazz Day celebration in 2014 when they partnered with the US Consulate in Lagos to host the International Jazz Day Celebration and also hosted a series of events to mark same in 2015.
