Pastor Ituah Ighodalo has reacted to the death of his wife Ibidun Ighodalo.
Mrs. Ighodalo died in the early hours of Sunday, June 14, from complications arising from COVID-19 infection.
She had gone to build isolation centers for the River State Government where she got infected and subsequently passed on.
Speaking during the service of songs for a young man named Ayodeji Akinwande, Pastor Ighodalo digressed a little to talk about how his life had been shattered.
Speaking he said that he received a phone call around 2: AM which shattered his life, adding that life must go on.
He said: “Everywhere tense, confuse, frightening, and disturbing. Here we are today. If they had told us that we would be here to celebrate Ayodeji’s life we would say it is not possible. He was ill no doubt, but we were believing God that he would be well, but here we are and there he is. And, of course, a lot of you know that I really shouldn’t be here, but that is how life is. 2 o’clock this morning I received a call that shattered my life, but life must go on, that is how it is,” Ighodalo said in an excerpt of a message he preached.
