Having failed in his political quest to be the governor of Lagos State, amiable and ever smiling Jimmy Agbaje had simply recoiled into his cocoon.
Like a simple man really willing to serve, he returned to his business and only returned to the radar occasionally.
On such occasion when he resurfaced, Agbaje was always in his essence. Once, it was at a fashion and art event that he was spotted, as he enjoyed the spotlight with notables including the Obi of Onitsha.
One of such rare occasions was when he was spotted at the birthday party of elder statesman and accomplished politician, Chief Ayo Adebanjo on the occasion of his 90th birthday.
Shying away from undue attention like a sun unsure of itself, Agbaje still had time to smile for the cameras.
