As anticipated, the journey home for late billionaire, Captain Hosa Wells Okunbo has been nothing but a colourful one.
As tributes continue towards his burial, his remains arrived Benin City, Edo State, from London today Thursday, October 7.
The welcome party to receive his corpse included his family and loved ones, heralded by Bini locals and cultural troupes who led the parade from the airport to his residence at GRA Benin.
Recall that the philanthropist transitioned to glory on Sunday, August 8 2021, at the age of 63.
Survived by his wife, and 12 children, Captain Okunbo’s memory is being honoured by his family, close friends and well-wishers in a five-day celebration that began with a Night of Tributes, at his residence in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria on Wednesday, October 6.
As his burial ceremony continues, a Thanksgiving Reception is expected to hold on Saturday, October 9, 2021.
