The Lagos State Police Command has reacted to a statement credited to singer Buju also known as ‘BNXN’.
In a post on social media, Twitter, Buju, had said that he spat on a police officer during a confrontation and it felt good.
The now deleted tweet read: “spat in a police officer and it felt so good”.

In a reaction to Buku’s post, the state’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said; while the police officers will be sanctioned for their misbehavior if established, Buju on the other hand “will surely answer for his assault on a police officer”.
He tweeted;
“@BNXN proudly tweeted that he ‘spat in [sic] a police officer’s face and it felt so good.’ He has since deleted the tweet. The police officers will be sanctioned for their misbehavior if established, while @BNXN will surely answer for his assault on a police officer.”
