The best of Lagos society gathered at Iga Iduganran, palace of Oba Riliwanu Akiolu, on Tuesday, October 29, as Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, daugther of All Progressive Congress (APC) leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was installed as the new Iyaloja of Lagos.
The event, held amid tight security , as Mrs. Tinubu-Ojo took over the reign of power from the former President-General, Association of Nigerian Market Women and Men, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, who died on June 15.
Some of society’s finest at the event include Mr Oyetunji Ojo, Senator Gbenga Ashafa, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Alake of Egba Land, Oba Michael Adedotun Gbadebo, Elegushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Elegushi, Lai Mohammed, Otunba Henry Ajomale and Kemi Nelson.
Alhaja Fatima Bintu Tinubu, wife of the late police chief Kafaru Tinubu, was also installed as the Iyalode of Lagos.
