Singer, Dremo has confirmed the position of Grammy award-winning artiste, Burna Boy regarding Afrobeat as a genre of music.
The “Africa Giant’ singer had in a recent interview claimed that Afrobeat singers sing about good times. He also added that these singers lack substance and real-life experience.
Subsequently, Dremo took to social media to drum support for Burna Boy on his claim.
Dremo claimed that most singers lack substance but are pushed by marketing.
He tweeted;
“I get where Burna is coming from, some of these cats have zero substance but 100% marketing .. I’m happy for y’all but just stay humble abeg , we know the talented ones”
