Early this year, amid criticisms of a poor showing in 2018, Don Jazzy, revealed that he was consulting, and would reposition Mavin Records.
The beatmaker has come true with his words, as he has since announced a partnership with Kupanda Holdings. According to him, the partnership is one which will see the label becoming one of the biggest in Africa.
Explaining the plans of Mavin Record which is going global, Don Jazzy said: “by collaborating with artists, African creatives, local and international partners, we can become a globally recognised household name and the go-to platform for connecting African music with the world.”
With the resources and operational capacity Kupanda Capital brings along with its investment, Mavin Record will naturally witness an expansion in its operations.
