‘Kukere’ singer, Iyanya does have a listening ear after all.
Just a week after Juke Box questioned the logic behind his deal with Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records and the fact that his career seems to have witnessed a downward slide, the singer has been explaining what he has been up to.
Iyanya who joined Mavin Records amid criticism has revealed that the deal with the label was simply based on mutual understanding, as documents were not signed.
In a Twitter post, he revealed that when he left his old label, he signed everything over to his partner Ubi Franklin because he wanted some peace adding that Don Jazzy advised him to see what the label was made of before singing.
The singer added that he will be dropping new songs after the Ramadan season.
