Hajiya Fatima Zubairu, the mother of Ummulkhulsum “Ummita” Buhari a girl who was killed by her Chinese boyfriend, Frank Geng Quarong, has welcomed the death sentence he was awarded in the court.
The Kano State High Court sentenced Quarong, a Chinese Businessman and resident of Kano to death by hanging after he was convicted on one count of culpable homicide.
Reacting after the Chinese businessman was sentenced to death for killing her daughter in Kano, the mother of the deceased said,“I am extremely sad I lost my daughter, but I am satisfied justice has been served.”
