Oluwanifemi Feola Famuyibo popular known as Olola says he wants to take over the music industry. In this chat with Juke Box, he speaks on how he intends to achieve this.
What is your genre of music?
I do Afro Pop.
What inspired your music career?
Music started when I was very young. My mum was also a great singer. I listened to music a lot. In my teenage years, I was in the teen choir and all these greatly influenced me.
Is your music all about rhythm or messages?
My first song ‘Bless Me’ which was released two years ago was about me talking to God. However, most of my other works have been a blend of both.
What are you currently working on?
I just concluded work on a new song titled ‘Adore You’. I will be dropping it soon. It was produced by TY Mix.
Tell us about your label?
I’m signed to Grind Records. I got signed January this year. The label is new and I’m up and coming, so we are growing together. We are learning new things together.
Do you have plans for a major collaboration soon?
I can’t see a good talent and not work with him. I hope to work with some of the biggest artistes in Nigeria and abroad, as I progress in my career.
What are your aspirations as an artiste?
My biggest aspiration is touching lives with my music. I want to send messages to people.
How did you come about your stage name?
Olola came from my real name Feola. When I was born my dad was a very big fan of Fela, so he named me Feola after the late, Fela.
