New High For StarTimes’s David Zhang

The history of StarTimes in Nigeria is an unfolding one.
However, one clear fact is that within a short while the organisation has achieved a lot both in areas of content creation and revolutionising the industry.
Despite achieving this much, StarTimes is not resting on its laurels, as it seeks new grounds to break.
The man who is set to take the organisation to the next level is its newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), David Zhang.
Zhang, who joined StarTimes Group in China on 12th of July 1989 has worked in Africa for seven years. His journey in Africa has seen him working in Kenya where he was the CEO of StarTimes before his appointment to his new office on Monday, January 21.
Hoping to ensure there is a StarTimes in the home of every Nigerian, the organisation will also be launching a solar panel into the Nigerian market in July.
According to Zhang, all these and more are part of what he is bringing to the table, as the new CEO of StarTimes.
