Nigerian Celebrities Idolize Jidenna

In recent time, the Nigerian music industry has not celebrated any artiste as it has done Nigerian/American singer, Jidenna.
Since his arrival in Lagos, Nigeria, on August 31, it has been one celebrity or the other hanging out with the fair-complexioned Classic Man.
Jidenna who is promoting his debut album entitled Long Live The Chief, has met with some of the the biggest celebrities in Nigeria including Timi Dakolo, Peter and Lola Okoye, and Bez. Other celebrities who have been with the singer are Banky W, Toke Makinwa, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Cobhams Asuquo.
Basically, the singer has simply been idolized as if he was the new king of pop.
Jidenna was at an album listening party on September 1, and he also performed at the Hard Rock Café.
It may be recalled that this same Jidenna was heavily criticized by some Nigerian entertainers last year when he was quoted as saying that he had to bring in a lot of AK47s and employ military commandos when he visited Nigeria.
Then, a lot of entertainers added their voice to criticizing the artiste. Presently, however, they all seem to have forgotten in a rush, as they party to songs from his debut album.
