A former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly Gabriel Daudu has been sentenced to 154 years in prison.
This for many, is a record sentencing by the Nigerian legal system.
Justice Inyang Ekwo who presided over the case found the accused guilty of 77 counts of the 208 charges brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Daudu was charged for 1.4 billion fraud.
