Nigerians have been reacting to the Sunday Service of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
While delivering the sermon of the First Sunday Service of the year, Adebpoye spoke about the coronavirus pandemic.
He advised people to observe and obey all COVID-19 protocols, even if they don’t agree with them.
Pastor Adeboye also took a swipe at the government and Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) that asked churches to close the crossover service which holds every New Year’s eve by 10 or 11pm instead of the usual 12am.
The revered man of God said the government’s decision on crossover service was funny to him.
“It’s all funny to me, crossover by 10, December 31, that is crossing over to 2020. God forbid bad thing. “I found it funny because nobody has told us yet that coronavirus attack people at night. I’m talking to you my children, don’t report me o. I said nobody told us that coronavirus is a witch.”
