News Nollywood Actor: Obi Replies el-Rufai Published 2 years ago on February 6, 2023 By The Octopus News Admin Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has reacted to being called a Nollywood actor by the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai. Recall that el-Rufai had tagged Obi a Nollywood actor who could not win the 2003 election, adding that he should focus on Nollywood instead of running for presidency. Speaking on Channels Television and analysing the chance of Obi in the 2023 presidential election, El-Rufai claimed that Obi wouldn’t score more than one per cent in Sokoto and two per cent in Katsina States, respectively. In his reaction to the statement, the former Anambra State Governor said he would work hard to improve on the Nollywood industry. Obi replied el-Rufai on Sunday, February 5, while featuring on Arise Television’s Sunday Show Program. He said he would focus on the Nollywood if elected president, calling on Nigerian actors to support him since el-Rufai had tagged him as one. He said, “I thank el-Rufai for what he said, at least he gave me some percentages; I’ll work hard to improve on that. The Entertainment Industry is one of the engines that will develop us as a nation, I’ll focus on that and Nollywood. “And since he said I’m an actor, I’m calling on all those in the entertainment industry, including Nollywood, to support me.” Post Views: 701 Related Topics:Labour PartyNasir El-RufaiNollywood Actor: Obi Replies el-RufaiPeter Obi Up Next Man Kills Bus Conductor Over Alleged N500 ‘Police Fee’ Don't Miss Monetary Policy Designed To Scuttle Elections-Oshiomhole You may like National Grid Collapse Now Regular News In Nigeria–Peter Obi Tinubu, Shettima’s Foreign Trips Not Adding Value To Economy-Obi Peter Obi Bigger Than Rabiu Kwankwaso, Former Presidential Aide Says Adegboyega Oyetola: Reflections on leadership and legacy I Never Stole Public Funds, I Can Swear With Qur’an-El-Rufai 2027 Election: Peter Obi Clarifies Position About Vice Presidency Click to comment Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
