Nyekachi Douglas representing Rivers has been named the 2019 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria.

She was named winner at an event which took place at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre in Bayelsa on Friday, October 11.

Miss Taraba, Olutosin Araromi was named 1st Runner up, followed by Miss Abuja, Pamela Ifejoku, Miss Edo, Akeelah Aminu and Miss Bayelsa, Becky Ogene.

Douglas will now represent Nigeria at the Miss World 2019 pageantry taking place in London in December.
