However, not the former President of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo, who continues to exude confidence and good health, as he grows older.
Unlike many men who had anticipated the life of an octogenarian without success, Obasanjo can now enjoy this special privilege, as he clocked 80 years on Sunday, March 5, eliciting praises from people such as Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, Femi Otedola, Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi and Olori Wuraola, Senators Dino Melaye and Shehu Sani who attended his celebration party at Eko Hotel and Suite, Lagos.
With his new age, Obasanjo joins the league of octogenarians of worth, a list which includes the likes of former Attorney General and the Minister of Justice of Nigeria, Prince Bola Ajibola; Otunba Subomi Balogun, Otunba Adekunle Ojora, Erelu Ojuolape Ojora, former Minister of Health, Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi; Afenifere chieftain; Chief Ayo Adebanjo, founder of the Oodua People’s Congress, (OPC), Dr Frederick Fasehun; Ambassador Omotayo Ogunsulure, Chief Alex Duduyemi and Tamunoemi Sokari David-West to mention a few.
