Perhaps one of the most consistent politician who has contested the office of Governor of Lagos state, Jimi Agbaje has been trying for a long while.
Having been observing the political terrain for a while, the People Democratic Party (PDP), member has finally joined the fray for the 2019 gubernatorial election, as he announced on Wednesday, September 19th that he will be contesting.
Agbaje, 61, represented PDP in the 2015 Lagos State governorship election losing by a small margin to the incumbent governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.
The politician who has since bought his PDP nomination form ascribed his decision to contest on pressure, saying that he has been under serious pressure to run again.
