The coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world has seen several organisations in Nigeria extending a hand of fellowship to both states and the Federal government.
However, there are foundations that have been committed to helping the less privileged before the pandemic, one of which is the Olu Kosoko Foundation.
Inspired by his love for humanity, the foundation under the Chairmanship of Prince Olu Kosoko, the Aremo of Iworo Kingdom in Badagry, Lagos recently showed love to families in Badagry.
The families had become victims of the pandemic, having lost their means of livelihood, with all commercial activities shutdown.
Coming to their rescue via palliative activities set to hold in phases, Prince Kosoko doled out cash on Wednesday, April 28, to families in different communities in Badagry with a focus on widows, the aged, vulnerable, and youths.
The event which happened at the Royal Palace, Iworo, Badagry saw praises being showered on the philanthropist who has continued to help his people despite unavoidable being out of the country.
The Prince Olu Kosoko Foundation is known for its efforts in helping the less privileged.
Stressing the tenet of combating the virus, the foundation stressed the need to still continue to follow the health directives of the government such as social distancing, washing of hands often, and wearing face masks in public places.
