Actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde has been described as a joker for demanding the return of her lost new phone, an Iphone.
The actress drew mixed reactions with the demand of the return of the phone, as she was asked the likelihood of getting it back.
Begging anyone who found the phone to return it, the actress said she could not afford to lose valuable contacts.
Jalade-Ekehinde lost the Iphone on the night of Thursday, December 21, at Eko Hotel, Lagos during the Miss Nigeria pageant where she was one of the judges.
Interestingly, rather than draw pity and sympathy, she has almost turned a laughingstock.
Below is her original post appealing for her phone to be returned:
“So Sad My New Iphone Red 128g, sn:- DNPT9PP8HX98 was stolen last Night During #MissNigeria at the Eko hotel just as I was rounding up with the Judging duties… Pls If you picked it or know Someone who did? It can’t be used its Locked. However very valuable contacts will be lost. Pls help return. Contact @redhotconcepts if you pls have any info.
In many countries today, you Must Register your handset just like you do your Sim. Nigeria should adopt same to reduce phone theft.”
