‘Double Wahala’ singer, Oritsefemi, recently sparked off controversy by saying that he is the best artist Nigeria has ever produced.
The singer, who said that he was not being given the accolades that he deserves in the Nigerian music industry, made the statement on Twitter on Tuesday, August 28, while talking about his new song.
With the statement, the singer insinuated that he is better than the likes of Osita Osadebe, Bright Chimezie, Orland Owo, orts Wiliki, 2Baba, Davido, Wizkid, Olamide and other popular Nigerian acts.
Oritsefemi went on to state that attitude by the media personnel do not bother him because he is the best artiste Nigeria has ever produced even though they don’t acknowledge the fact that he has been singing since he was seven years old or even give him an award for his talent.
His words:
“I know some people will be waiting for me to buy dem car… before dem play my songs that I just drop lately… later still give all the awards to dem people too… am still the best artist Nigeria has produced… from me as a 7yr old boy till date”
However, his position has been disputed, as music pundits ask the rational for his statement.
