Osun Election: Singer, Davido Drags INEC

Nigerian musician, Davido, has called out the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for not issuing a certificate of return to his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke 48 hours after he was declared winner of the Saturday, July 16 gubernatorial election in Osun State.
Recall that Adeleke, a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the election defeated the incumbent governor Gboyega Oyetola of All Progressive Congress (APC).
Expressing his surprise at the fact that Senator Adeleke had not been officially recognised by the election umpire in Nigeria, Davido took to social media Instagram to call out the body.
In a tweet shared on his handle, Davido asked if INEC needs money for fuel to facilitate the issuing of the Certificate of Return.
”48hrs after our @AAdeleke_01 victory at the Osun Gubernatorial elections, we are yet to receive our certificate. @inecnigeria should we send you fuel money? LOL Please no one should tamper with the will of the Osun People! Issue the certificate as required by Law! ”
