The much anticipated Osun State rerun election might be ongoing, but the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), gubernatorial candidate, Ademola Adeleke, has revealed his supporters are not being allowed to vote.

Adeleke made this revelation during an interview.

The candidate of the PDP who was purportedly leading the votes before the election was declared inconclusive by INEC on Saturday, September 23, has described the ongoing rerun election as a coup.

Adeleke said PDP members in the state were being harrased.

“What is happening in Osun State now is not an election.  What we have is a coup.  That is what we are witnessing now. Our supporters are being harassed and are not allowed to vote at all. Let the whole world know that this is not the democracy, ” he said.

While there are those who hold the position that Adeleke won the election last Saturday, time will tell who INEC will declare winner of the election.
