For some people, philanthropy comes naturally.
It definitely comes that way for businessman, Femi Otedola.
Over the years, Otedola has become popular for helping the less privileged including celebrities and regular individuals both in Nigeria and abroad.
His kind gestures over time have seen him gathering admirers with several individuals showering him with praises and awards.
In appreciation of Otedola’s good work, he recently got a mention from a UK-based charity organisation, Save the Children, as he was invited to join the vice president’s group.
The invitation was hinged on his contributions to the betterment of the course of children in Nigeria.
The vice president’s group of Save the Children charity consists of select individuals promoting the course of the organisation through advocacy, introduction, volunteerism, and philanthropy.
Otedola’s contribution to the charity saw him hosting a gala in Abuja in 2019, during which he donated a whopping five billion Naira to its course.
Prior to then, he had also contributed to the charity via a programme on the prevention, treatment of malnutrition, and advocating access to quality education in northern Nigeria, impacting over 6000 children in several northern states including Adamawa, Borno, and Kastina.
