At least 16 people were rescued alive from Okrika Kalio River after a boat accident.

The mishap occurred on Wednesday, July 22, in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

All the 16 people including men and women who were on the boat when it capsized were rescued alive thanks to locals who saved them.
