Police Arrest Siblings For Killing Neighbour
The police have arrested two siblings for allegedly killing their neighbour Taiwo Eluyemi.
Eluyemi was killed in front of his son by Habib and Rilwan Olapari alongside one Peter.
The incident occurred at 7, Taiwo Street in Mafoluku Oshodi, Lagos on April 23.
The siblings had gotten into a heated argument with the deceased after he complained about the many friends they brought to his apartment to watch television.
Eluyemi reportedly settled with the boys, but the siblings had other plans in mind. They pretended to be fighting afterward and axed Eluyemi from behind after he intervened and tried to broker peace.
Habib’s mother, Iya Adura who allegedly provided the axe was declared wanted by the Lagos state police alongside one Tobi, over the role they played in the murder incident.
The arrested suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) Panti, Lagos.
