A team of Policemen stormed the Lagos head office of Oando Plc on Monday, June 3.
The presence wasn’t in isolation with an announcement on Sunday, May 31 by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Following an investigation, the commission had ordered the company’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Wale Tinubu, and other affected board member to resign. SEC had announced that an interim management team had been set up to oversee the company’s affairs.
Due to the presence of the security men, some of the company’s staff were forced to return home.
Report had it that the security officers were following orders not to allow some staff members of Oando access to their offices.
