Pretty Okafor start fresh crisis in PMAN***Read exclusive details

A fresh controversy is set to tear the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), apart.

It is public knowledge that asides leadership money is another factor that has seen members of the association at loggerhead.

A faction of the association under the leadership of Pretty Okafor penned  a mouth watering and multi million naira  contract with telecoms giant, Airtel.

Although the details of the contract are sketchy at the moment, sources revealed that the deal is favourable.

Interestingly, this is coming just days after Pretty Okafor was asked to stop parading himself as the President of PMAN, by Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC).

www.theoctopusnews.com, can reveal to you that the duo of Sunny Neji and Pretty Okafor stormed out of a recent meeting organized to resolve the lingering crisis in the Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PMAN), by the TUC.

We learnt that TUC had called a meeting in Abuja where part of the issues to be discussed was the resolution of the crisis in the music association.

At the meeting, Pretty Okafor was ordered to stop parading himself as the PMAN President, as the court from which he got his injunction acted out of jurisdiction.

It was agreed that Hajia Remi Dangaji be recognized as the PMAN President, while Questionmark label boss, Kelvin Luciano head the election organizing committee which will see to the organization of an election to produce a new leader for the association.

The duo of Sunny Neji and Pretty Okafor we learnt walked out of the meeting after initially saying they would think about the idea, but were told to take the advised of the TUC.

With the new development, only time will tell if  the corporate image of Airtel will not be rubbed in the mud with this new deal.
