History was made on Saturday, July 7th, as Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele unveiled the 30th edition of his compendium of prophesies, “Warnings To The Nations” 2024 edition.
Heralded by a glamorous opening with selected children giving a rendition of diverse fulfilled promises from years past, the phase marked the commencement of the event proper.
Primate Ayodele made a grand entry into the venue of the event at about 8:30 AM garbed in a white attire with beads to complement. He didn’t waste much time before he delved into the business of the day.
Highpoints of his prophecies for 2024 cut across the economy, politics insecurity, sports among others.
Addressing a cross section of journalists, Primate Ayodele reeled out prophecies.
Politics:
On the political scene, Primate Ayodele stated that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will lose Edo 2024 governorship election.
According to him, PDP will lose if Governor Godwin Obaseki fails to negotiate with the powers that be.
His words: “If Obaseki does not negotiate with the powers that be, PDP will lose Edo disgracefully.”
In the area of party politic, specifically the APC led federal government, the Prophet said Tinubu only came to strengthen Nigeria’s democracy but nothing much will happen to the country’s economy.
His words:: “Tinubu is not Nigeria’s messiah but only came to do one or two things, and what he came to do is to strengthen our democracy.
“Nothing much in the economy, we are still going to experience more hardship till 2025 and confusion in our economy.
“Tinubu will have a very tough and challenging time going for a second term. There will be so much pressure on him and he needs to look after his health.”
Nigeria’s Unity:
In the area of unity, Primate Ayodele stated that Nigeria will divide naturally, without bloodshed.
He also noted that prayers alone cannot solve Nigeria’s issues and called for proactive measures to address the nation’s challenges.
The man of God also spoke against a political coup against President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.
Insecurity:
Primate attributed Nigeria’s security challenges to man-made factors and prophesied that the country’s division would be initiated by northerners.
He said Nigeria will divide but without blood being shed, adding that the way forward is for the country to adopt three things namely, steady electricity, mechanised farming, and putting insecurity to an end.
Also, he added that a million pastors can’t pray for Nigeria to work. “Prayer is not the solution but we must be ready to take proactive measures.”
He warned that People’s Democratic Party (PDP) could cease to exist before 2027 if Nyesom Wike’s influence and fight for survival are not addressed.
Primate expressed doubts about Atiku Abubakar’s ability to win for the PDP and predicted that Peter Obi’s presidency would bring further calamity to Nigeria.
He dismissed PDP’s gubernatorial candidate in Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, saying that Ajayi’s efforts for the November 2024 election would be futile.
Primate Ayodele also urged Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to increase support for the country’s only indigenous telecommunication company, Globacom and prevent creation of other telecommunication companies in Nigeria.
According to Primate Ayodele, Globacom has the capacity to help Nigeria overcome economic challenges but the government must support them in order to increase this capacity. He stated that the company will create more employment if the needed support is given.
Further, Ayodele noted that the establishment of another indigenous telecommunication company will lead to unnecessary rivalry and will not be healthy for Nigeria’s economy.
“Let the government support indigenous telecommunication companies because they will create more employment. We don’t need so much to avoid rivalry. We shouldn’t bring up any other indigenous telecommunication apart from Glo, we should put resources together to support this one we have.’’
“Glo has come to stay and has the capacity to create an economic boom for President Tinubu’s administration. Let’s support our own instead of creating unnecessary rivalry that will lead to calamity for the country.’’
The spiritual leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church also criticised the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), accusing its leadership of focusing on personal gain than on the spiritual and moral welfare of the nation.

Primate Ayodele prophesied that there would soon be two Oonis of Ife.
