The producer of a recently premiered movie titled Ajanaku ‘Beast of Two Worlds’ has come under criticism after declaring cross-dresser, Bobrisky the best dressed female at the event.
Ajanaku, a movie produced by Eniola Ajao in collaboration with Anthill Studios, premiered over the weekend at Circle Mall in Lekki,
However, rather than be celebrated for it’s storyline and lessons inherent in the movie, it is criticisms that has trailed the movie.
Reactions over the movie on social media have been titled against the idea of naming Bobrisky the best dress female at the event.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, filmmaker, Ugezu Ugezu asked how this could happen in an event organized by Human beings.
Also, actress Dayo Amusa slammed the organisers of the event held in Lagos State on Sunday, March 24, for naming Bobrisky as the ‘’best-dressed female” at the event.
In a video shared online, Amusa said she was at the event and had to stage a walkout after Bobrisky was announced as the winner of the best-dressed female guest.
Amusa asked the judges if they were okay with taking such a decision, She argued that the organisers should have created a category for best-dressed crossdressers if they intended to recognise the crossdressers at the show.
Meanwhile, netizens have also been reacting. A netizen identified as Bashirah Busola Giwa reacted: “Is Bob a woman how is he the best dressed female”.
Another wrote, Coach Feeyah, posted: “Female kwa! What are we promoting for crying out loud.”
Bilqees Hamza posted: “High time to stop this rubbish before it gets out of hand. TVC I’m highly disappointed”.

“Beast of Two Worlds (Ajanaku)” follows the story of a fearless king who must do the necessary to protect his dynasty against all odds.
Directed by Odunlade Adekola and Adebayo Tijani, the film stars Odunlade Adekola, Femi Adebayo, Mercy Aigbe Kazeem, Faithia Williams, Lateef Adedimeji, Sola Sobowale, Ibrahim Chatta, and Fathia Balogun.
