There is a new development to the Cynthia Morgan and Jude Okoye drama.
Following claims by the singer that she lost everything she had due to a contract she signed with Okoye’s Northside Inc, her former manager, Joy Tongo has refuted the allegation.
In statement released by Tongo, she refuted Morgan’s claim revealing that she prepared and signed the supposed controversial contract that the dancehall singer claimed was used to take her brand name and social media accounts.
Tongo also revealed that Morgan left the label before the end of her contract without consequence, adding that the dancehall star who was popular for many hits including “Am Taken” even performed at shows outside of her and Jude Okoye’s approval and awareness.
The statement also stated that Tongo and her artiste parted ways after she became unmanageable, revealing that there is nothing in the contract that stated that Okoye or Northside Music would assume ownership of the singer’s legal name, royalties and social media accounts.
