Amidst speculation that she is pregnant for the Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri, former Big Brother Naija (BBN) housemate, Nengi Hampson has spoken up.
The fair-complexioned former model who recently reacted to the rumour trailing her and Diri said that she had no business with the governor, and she is not pregnant for him.
Nengi made the bold clarification via her X account.
Describing the rumours as false, she clarified that her pregnancy had nothing to do with any Governor.
“As much as I believe social media lies aren’t worth my time, I’ve come to accept that we live in a world where people are quick to spread lies without limits so let me be clear, I’m not pregnant for any Governor,” she wrote.
Nengi explained that she decided to speak out because the rumours were not only tarnishing her image but also affecting people she holds in high regard.
She insisted she would not allow anyone to turn a personal part of her life into something ugly.
Nengi became a household name when she apeared on Mnet’s BBN season 5, show in 2020, where she finished second runner-up.
