Senator Oluremi Tinubu has announced her intention to via for the office of the Deputy Senate President when the 9th Assembly resumes.
Senator Tinubu made this known during an interview with journalists after casting her vote in andthe Governorship and House of Assembly election in Lagos State.
Asked what her plan is since she will be going to the red chamber for the third time, Senator Tinubu said “being the only woman to be returning to the senate for the third time and with three consecutive convincing victories at the polls, she deserves to contest the office of the Deputy Senate President.
However, there are those who have questioned Senator Tinubu’s pedigree in the Senate. For those set of people, her ambition is a tall one
