Ruggedman, a serial critic of the Nigerian Police and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), has once again called out the force.
In a post on social media, Ruggedman, stated how the police would arrest the mother of a suspect and hold her untill he surfaced, but could not do the same for a wanted officer.
Relating his post to the case of a police officer wanted for murder, the musician wonder why the officer’s family members had not been arrested, asking if the force didn’t know the address of his family house.
Inspector Dania Ojo was declared wanted by the Police Force, but has since remained elusive.
Interestingly, reaction from Nigerians since he shared the post on Twitter has been for the police to go all out to arrest Ojo’s family.
Recall that Ojo and a team of police officers had been involved in a shooting in Apapa area of Lagos State that left a 20 years old girl identified as Ada Ifeanyi dead, while Emmanuel Akomafuwa was said to have sustained life-threatening injuries.
Though operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested five Police officers, Ojo remains elusive, hence the call out by Ruggedman.
