Seun Kuti might have just gotten himself some enemies from Wizkid’s quarters.
Speaking during an interview, Seun Kuti, the son of the legendary Afrobeat maestro, Fela Anikulapo Kuti refused to compare what his father represented to what ‘Star Boy’ is doing.
According to him, “Wizkid is doing his own thing. He likes Fela, but I don’t think what Wizkid is doing represents my father’s records. There are different artistes who represent different ideologies, but every artiste is inspired by my dad, as a musician. Fela’s music is inspirational, but to say that Fela and Wizkid are doing the same thing makes no sense,” he said.
