When a man is guilty of an offence, he hardly has a spring in his step. This is because the feeling of guilt reduces him to almost nothing.
However, this is not the case of Senator Ali Ndume who was suspended months back by the Ethics and Privileges Committee of the Senate headed by Chris Anyanwu.
Then, Ndume was castigated for asking his colleagues to investigate allegations of corruption leveled against Senate President Bukola Saraki and Dino Melaye.
Following a failed effort by the Senate to extend the suspension beyond six months, Ndume resumed work on Wednesday, November 15, with a spring to his steps as he walked into the upper house exchanging pleasantries with his colleagues.
With a grin on his face, there was no disputing the fact that he was happy to be back on his turf.
