Senator Andy Uba’s disregard for law
On Saturday, June 29, Senator Andy Uba showed his disregard for laws, when he did not obey the usually observed environmental sanitation time restraining order.
The former governor of Anambra, Senator Uba, was spotted by www.theoctopusnews.com at 19.30a.m. at Akanu Ibiam International Airport, on his way to Ugah, venue of his niece’s wedding.
Uba, who was accompanied by a retinue of aids, shocked other passengers who had been waiting at the arrival hall of the airport, when he emerged from the hall, walked into one of the SUVs waiting for him and drove off almost immediately, thereby prompting many to ask if as a lawmaker, he is exempted from obeying the law he makes.
Observers opined that for a man who is aspiring to become the next occupant of Anambra Government House, compliance with the simple environmental law, which restrict movement, irrespective status, from 7 to 10 a.m., is one the man shouldn’t have flouted.
