Singer, Seyi Shay has apologised to her colleague Wizkid following a wrong remark she made during a recent interview session.
The singer was quoted as saying that Drake’s hit song, One Dance, which featured Wizkid actually belonged to the StarBoy act. According to her, it was produced by Legendary Beat and some other Nigerian producers, but was stripped of its Afrobeat feel by Drake leaving only the rhythm.
After a typical social media spat by Wizkid saying, “She lied, don’t say what you know nothing about”, “Shut up”, Seyi Shay apologised to the singer for what she had done saying that she made the statement based on hearsay.
The song, One Dance, which is currently a world music sensation was originally titled “Do You Mind” and was written by Crazy Cousin featuring Kyle.
