The friends drowned on the same day Monday, October 17, as Bayelsa continues to struggle with heavy flooding.
States such as Anambra, Kogi, and Delta State, have been dealing with severe flooding since the release of excess water from a dam in Cameroon.
The friends namely Favour and Ebi have since been buried following the discovery of their bodies on Tuesday, October 18.
