Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has dissolved his cabinet.
Spokesperson for the governor, Onyebuchi Ememanka, announced the dissolution of the state executive council in a statement.
However, the governor failed to disclosed when he will set up another cabinet.
Ememanka said the affected members of the council were asked to hand over all government properties in their possession to their respective permanent secretaries.
The governor’s aide said Ikpeazu thanked the officials for their service to the state.
He further stated that Ikpeazu also approved the recall from suspension, his suspended Chief of Staff, Dr. Anthony Agbazuere.
Unconfirmed reports have it that few commissioners were not affected by the cabinet dissolution.
