After weeks of social media drama, Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade popular as Asake has settled his issues with his father, Fatai Odunsi.
It was widely reported that Asake and his father had been estranged following matrimonial challenges between his parents years ago.
Odunsi had also accused Asake of not supporting him financially despite knowing he suffered stroke.
In the past few weeks when Asake’s father surfaced on videos seeking out his son, many had criticised the singer for neglecting the man who currently resides in Lagos Island.
Asake has now made commitments to support him both financially and emotionally.
In a recent interview, the singer’s father sid; “His mother should have asked him when last he saw me, which is what upset me, but we’ve since resolved all our issues. There are no more problems between us.”
Mr. Odunsi also mentioned that Asake has promised to buy him a new house and cover all his medical expenses.
Hear him; “Asake said he will do everything I want. We’ve settled everything, and now he’s looking for a new house to buy for me.”
Also, Asake has taken full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat, affirming that he has never denied her and now plans to provide for her fully.
“He has agreed to take full responsibility for his daughter, Zeenat,” Odunsi confirmed.
Odunsi, has been battling the effects of a stroke since 2022.
