These are indeed sober times for Bayelsa State House of Assembly Speaker, Konbowei Benson.
The vocal yets amiable man has been himself since his brother, Iniokpoemi Benson, was abducted by unknown gunmen on Monday, August 4 at his residence in Korokorosei community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.
Those who have seen the Speaker in recent times say he is not as vibrant as he used to be before the incident.
Benson is the immediate past chairman of Korokorosei Community’s Development Committee.
