Popular Nigerian singer, Portable has been granted bail having been arraigned for assault in a court in Ifo, Ogun State.
The controversial singer whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola was arrested on Friday, March 31, after failing to honour five invitation from the police after a petition was written against him by an artiste named Manny Money.
Portable resisted arrest when the police attempted to arrest him in his bar in Ota, Ogun State, leading to a policeman being injured in the process.
When Portable appeared in court today, he appeared subdued and a contrast from the person who bragged that he resisted arrest from over 20 policemen.
Recall that Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, had earlier said the controversial singer would face more than six charges in court.
