Succour For Bukola Saraki
“Suffering and sadness may last for the night, but joy comes with the morning”
The above biblical quote might be synonymous with Christians, but presently it applies to the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki.
Having been at the mercy of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), for a while Saraki had reasons to smile recently.
The third most powerful man in Nigeria smiled home on Wednesday, June 14, having been cleared by the CCT of charges of false asset declaration.
Prior to now, many had thought that Saraki was set for a political fall, but like his other travails he has proven to be a cat with nine lives.
