Taking Down Tiwa Savage’s Song Wasn’t Personal- Danny Young

Danny Young has reacted to criticisms that have followed his role in the saga that saw ‘One’ a song by Tiwa Savage being pulled down by music website, YouTube.
Speaking on the controversial song, the artist said it wasn’t a personal issue. According to him, it was about doing the right thing.
“We must not continue to operate in an industry that has no structure. I am just trying to do the right thing and trying to prove that copyright issues must be taken seriously especially in the Nigerian entertainment industry,” Danny Young said.
Further, the singer said that his lawyers had reached out to Tiwa Savage’s quarters when the drama started, as they tried sorting out the issue.
Confirming that he made the copyright claim to stop the ‘All Over’ singer from benefitting from what is originally his, he added that he still had respect for her.
